Prabhakara Vardhana was the first ruler of this dynasty.
He had two sons Rajya Vardhana and Harshavardhana.
The dynasty ruled sthanesvar in Haryana.
The first capital of Harsha was Thaneswar. Later Kannauj was the capital.
After the death of Prabhakara Vardhana Rajya Vardhana ascended the throne in 605 A.D.
Rajyavardhana was killed by Sasanka.
Rajyasri was the sister of Rajyavardhana.
Rajyasri was married to the Maukari king Gruhavarman(ruler of Kannauj).
Gruhavarman was killed by Sasanka, king of Gauda with the help of Devagupta, king of Malwa. Rajyasri was also imprisoned.
Rajyavardhana marched against Devagupta but he was died.
Harshavardhana was the most prominent ruler of this dynasty.
