Alivardi Khan
Alivardi Khan was a Turk. He came to India and entered into service in Bengal in 1726.
He earned good opinion in Delhi Durbar and got the title of Mahabat Jung.
Due to the weakness of Mughal Govt. Alivardi Khan marched from Patna upon Mushirabad and was successful in the battle that took place in 1740.
He became the Nawab of Bengal in 1740.
